DESCRIPTION
The project-5 Controller is my first „low cost“ Controller. It only needs one Doepfer Midi Interface because there are 58 CC´s to control. 31 Knobs and 27 switches. 6 Push Buttons are for the Midi keyboard.
So only the parts costs about 1000 €. Per example, the parts for the OP-X and the imposcar 2 costs about 1400 Euro. Also the case is normal wood and don´t need a special varnish.
The Layout of the frontpanel is special designed for Gunnar´s Messiah VST Instrument. But it can be use for NI Pro-53 or Arturia Prophet V too. Because the switches of the Waveforms of OSC 1 and 2 are double labeled. That means, above the LED there ist the original Label and below there ist the Flexi and Morph Label for the Messiah. On the Upper right side, there are 3 switches On/off for the Arp, the Step Sequencer Pitch and Filter.
The controller has only 4 Octave keys. I think, thats enough.
The Messiah has much more Parameters to control but i wanna keep the look of the orignal prophet.
