Awesome work, I would like to build my own since no one makes midi synth key controllers worth a look at. MY main complaint is the keybed. they all look like toys the natural (white) keys are always short and fat especially whenmade out of plastic. looking for a professional 76 synth keybed that have normal size natural keys. do you know where to find them and what model if FaTar?
Comment:
Hi Robert,

thanks for your compliment. Hmmm ... 76 Keys are 6 Octaves. The only keys i know is from Doepfer and called:

hammer keyboard TP/10MD 76 keys, with dynamic bubble contacts and after touch (without Midi electronics, case and cables).

But much expensive ..... 590 Euro.

Per Example the 5 Octave keys without aftertouch i use with the Pure MCone called:

keyboard TP/9 5 octaves, unweighted, with dynamic bubble contacts (without electronics, case and cables)

cost only 120 Euro

both without Electronic of course.

All the Best

Hi Andre,

i´m very sorry but i can´t build controllers for everyone. Normally i build controllers only for myself. But, when i need place for new controllers i sell one from time to time.
The impOSCar and the OP-X Controllers were very expensive to built. And it was a hard work for about 4 Month for each.
If I would sell one, then not under $ 3,000.
Now you think, i`m crazy. Perhaps, but i don´t need to sell one immediately.

I hope you can understand this.

Hallo Ronald,

es tut mir leid, aber die Controller sind unverkäuflich. Alleine die Materialkosten würden bei ca. 800 € liegen.

Gruss

*Is there a VST Plug available ?*

Yes - but its out of production today, you have to get it second hand, but its a super cool synth !

http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/apr05/articles/hartmannneuronvs.htm

It comes with a small control box :the nuke

First the Neuron came as hardware synth:
http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/aug03/articles/hartmannneuron.htm

but today
the company do not exist :( ,
this synth can make VERY
UNUSUAL sound that no other synth can.

Cheers

I understand. But without VST Plug, i can´t think about a controller for it.

Hello! Congratulations on your beautiful work - truly amazing!

I am making a few little controllers myself and I could never find knobs for sliders (like the ones you use for Prodyssey).
I would be very greatful if you could send me a link to your provider :)

Thanks so much and happy new year 2011!!
Alex

Hi Alex,

first off, thanks for your comment.

The Knobs are the original prodyssey knobs.
But for my Jupiter 8 Project, i´ve ordered 26 from Soniccore(Creamware) via mail.

Maybe you can do the same. But i´m not sure, because the ASB´s are no longer available.

Here is the link:

All the best and happy new year too.

No.42» Twin Lancet Rating: 5/5

Hi Mario,

Kann man also selber bauen.

Gruss

Hi

I want one of each, they look amazing!!! Thanks for sharing your work.
I understand that building and buying finished controllers will be to expensive...but is there any chance you will post the fullsize front panel layouts on your site for us DIY? Or is it possible to buy the Pro5 and Minimoog layout from you?

I must have one of each :-)

Best regards
Robert
Comment:
Hi Robert,

please send me a mail to webmaster@synth-project.de for a better overview and tell me which Layout you want. You can get it for low. I don´t wanna make money with it, if it is for private use !!!!!
The Layout is a PDF File.
You can print it out in 1:1.

But all the place holder for switches and Display are a special size of german parts. The Display (Pro-5)has the dimension of Doepfers MKE Electronic, per example.

All the best
